MILAN — 22 January 2026 — The Scientology Volunteer Ministers have brought their distinctive yellow tent to Milan, creating a street-level point for practical help and one-to-one guidance, alongside everyday “Tools for Life” that can be applied to daily problems. Already seen in major cities such as New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Rome and Naples, the Yellow Tent is designed to let residents speak with trained volunteers and learn simple steps for handling stress, improving communication and resolving conflicts, as well as support after personal emergencies.

Volunteer Ministers are community volunteers trained through 19 introductory “Tools for Life” courses covering communication, relationships, study skills, workplace challenges and conflict resolution. The approach is focused on the individual: understand what the person faces and provide an actionable technique.

In Italy, Volunteer Ministers have supported communities during major emergencies including L’Aquila (2009) and Emilia-Romagna (2012), and have also assisted during recent floods in Marche (2022) and Romagna (2023), working alongside local institutions and civil protection actors to help clear homes and public spaces.

In Milan, activity expanded during the COVID-19 period with sanitisation initiatives and distribution of basic necessities.
